Angel Tucks Me In

One night when I was asleep an angel came
A bright energy came from
this androgynous being so peaceful and light
I had so many questions
Simple ones and not so simple ones
I wonder
I never ask my questions
Because the angels presence promotes tranquility
I forget that I had a nightmare and all things unpleasant

I am relaxed and aware as the angel prays over me
I want to learn more about this peace
I want to share peace with the world
Angel whispers a very special secret in my ear
As if my mind was read like a poem

Then a lullaby the angel sings soothes me back to sleep
I dream big beautiful things
I feel so free and light
When I awake I forget the whispered secret
And even the angel’s face
With me still is the sandy lullaby
And a sense of peace and rest

Karen, to me this is a beautiful description of dreaming. This is my own personal belief (which many seem to disagree with)--that the wonderful things we think of that dust our night come from within ourselves. You are a gem to write of dreams and visitations in this way--you are like the angel you write about. The symbols and things that come to us during sleep are so very revealing about what we think.

You make some interesting points that I agree with in part. I also think at times divine things are at play as we in my family have had a clairvoyant person, and one who had a deceased family member communicate with a living family member during sleep to save a life, a true miracle! My mom says I have the gift of dreams as I had a similar experience
