Notes About The Poem

Angel of Contentment

Ah, she, in divine contentment sleeps,

Her soft, sweet breath fills the air.

As I lovingly pet her soft, angelic hair.

She is my Muse, in her, my ideas steep!

My cat is older but much like the cat in the image, You have the ability to be generous to a beginning poet like me! Five years is nothing. I realize how much there is to learn.I stick to being a poet of the heart. I am not impressed by words that are over many heads. I wish you a sunshiny soul day in every way. Merci for the fave, Love, Panagiota

Elena, how sweet. This is hardly earthshaking, I leave that kind of poetry to those who write far better than me. Serenity means much to me. Add gratitude for anyone who touched my heart in a small way. Each comment is a gentle touch. Pangie xx

Hello Panagiota, I agree our cats do calm us down. I also feel peaceful with my cat. She is good company. She is affectionate. There is stuff going on all around the world. Good things and bad. Hugs. Darlenexxx

Hello Darlene! Being serene and calm helps me focus. For me, my cat brings peace..News filled with lies to upset the universe does not, censorship does not,.We all belong to the Family of Man..I am aware propaganda creates hatred and misunderstanding in and among nations so FREAKS get to control the world. Propaganda is spreading lies.I hear it daily. I see the results here. Instead of taking responsibility, they blame someone else. Might as well blame the cats. Or better yet, the people who believe lies and spread them. You never do that, thank God! Merci for FAVING this, hugs Pangie…peace be yours!

Thank you Stephen. I know we can get a bit off, in a frenzy to what to write about. Just breathe…relax. The only trophy we should want that means a thing is God’s love. Being adored by our peers is nice, yes. The real trophy is for all good people to enter God’s Holy Gates. Pangie xx
