Angel

Into ground cold and hard as stone his casket is lowered while snow - like angel wings - whirls softly from heaven

Powerful and sad, Andrea! The images are as cold and hard as the frozen earth and the grief the depict! The snow compared to angel wings is a beautiful, not cold, contrast of comfort! Congratulations on your win! Blessings!

Hello Andrea, Words fail me when reading a vastly superior work such as this. The word perfection wouldnt do it justice. Immaculate and celestial. I value your review of Digits, Howard

Even though I understand the process...realizing a journey each of us is destined to make...and even though I believe in life here-after ever-after, there is always sorry in my heart. Knowing all, Christ, while in the flesh, did not want to leave His apostles only did so because it was Father's will. And His Mission.

This is so comforting despite the obvious somber event! Is such a gentle poem for one who mourns! A fav because it gives me peace in my own mourning.
