And Yet - It Is What It Is

Our lives have known such different ways
                         Such different ways have we
And yet despite such varied worlds
The same sun helps us see

The teachings of a higher source
                                        So similar of grain
So why then must our names, our skins
Give rise to hate and pain

The meals we set to nourish babes
                               To blossom healthy lives
Though dished up from a different pan
                                  A common fire thrives

And yes, the love that bears its fruit
                                To sow its yielding seed
The very same no matter where
                                 In manner and in deed

Our lives have known such different ways
                         Such different ways have we
So why not share and learn and form
                                             A larger family

Mike, I have to say you are one wise individual. This makes so much sense. I think we learn these lessons when we have a chance to interact with a diverse group of people in real life. The challenge is making that happen and letting it happen. I find all my biases melt away when I have a chance to be with people who are different. Smiles!

Your outlook is very admirable, Mike and I don’t mean that just in a religious manner. The world becomes more disconnected each day even though communication outlets make it easier. Perhaps that’s part of the escalation of greed and some being power hungry.

Agreed. It's all about John 13:35. JW's have already begun the process in some 240 lands, the only international brotherhood on earth. The process will have reached its completion by the end of Jesus' thousand years reign
