And This Is the Way...The Way It Goes
I feel the tide
Pulling
And tugging
My heart
My head
My body
Into two
What do I do
Where do I go
When everything's
A choice I have
To make
I feel the seasons
Splitting
And tearing
My emotions
My thoughts
My actions
Into four
What to be
Where to flee
From former
Yous and mes
I feel the days
Dividing
And subtracting
My hours
My minutes
My life
Into seven
What to know
Where to blow
Away where things
Don't materialize
So easily
