Questions ... Can I want you ... Without drowning in desire? Can I adore you ... Without your pity? Can I hold you ... Without holding onto you? Can I touch you ... Without your skin burning? Can I taste you ... Without starving? Can I fall into you ... Without falling for you? Can I love you ... Without breaking us both? Can I kiss you ... Without losing my soul? Never. And so ... I will. ~ 1st Place ~ in the "End September 2018 Standard Any Form Or None" Poetry Contest, Brian Strand, Judge & Sponsor.

Thank you very much, John, I'm pleased you enjoyed it! I was going for half of a "Q", but I like your interpretation better, and it works! Blessings, My Poet Brother! :-)

Gloriously poetic, and the way you typed it makes it ever so remarkable. I am diving in for a second read. I know there is something I must have missed.
