And Away He Goes

Sent away at age five for the summer
No way his parents could have been dumber
On Johnny's first day at camp
     His pants were completely damp
  Not toilet-trained yet ~ That's a real bummer

"Bummer" for the counselors. Poor thing. Children start things too early anyway... don't they? Sad, all these hurried children.

You know, Mike, I never know exactly where I'm going either when I start to write. I'm forever flying by the seat of my pants. -- And a wide seat it's become! lol Thanks, gw

Some parents fail in giving proper toilet training to their children and leave them in embarrassing situations. Poor Johnny! A funny limerick, dear Gershon

Just as some children can't keep their cool 24/7. LOL. Thanks, Valsa

Ooh, how embarrassing for him; I would not want to be in his shoes, rather...pants. Clever fun.

I don't think you'd particularly care to be in his shoes either, M.L! Thanks, gw

This little ditty hits upon a real world problem. Personally know a very good first grade teacher who quit the profession in part because she was fed up with dealing with potty training issues in the first grade.

Really -- her own potty training? or the kids?' lol.
