An Unexpected Surprise

As I get ready for Feb 14th, I’m transported back in time when my love took me to a lovely spot. It was a beautiful meadow, he blind folded me and took me down a path. We stopped and he took off the blindfolds. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I saw a lovely blanket. With a picnic basket, inside it had assorted cheeses ,crackers, slices of ham and turkey. Then I saw strawberries, and grapes. A cold bottle of champagne and flower petals and chocolate kisses sprinkled throughout the blanket. That was the happiest day of my life. It was Valentines’ Day, and the same day he asked me to be his wife. 2/9/20 Alexis Y. This is my Valentines Day write. May you all feel love every day of your lives!
