An Open Letter To a New Love

The key, may it be
        One that lets us see
       The soul and it’s light
          For it is only right

       To plot the course of life
           That we have set
     To remain in-between love
             And happiness

       For at times life is mete
    By minutes that last a lifetime
    So let us begin to the path; to
       Set forth with open minds.
      Guided by our body and soul

       Let, no one tell us different;
             For…the past lover
         No longer plays that role.
