An Ode to my Brain

I do adore my dear old brain,
with her I have so much to gain.
Quite ditzy, yet so versatile
has been with me now quite a while.
An independent thinker she,
I’m glad she is that part of me.
Her senses bring her much delight,
they feed her passion then to write.
So yes, my brain’s my favourite part
she rules my mind, also my heart.
