An Hourglass of Lost Time

My mind drifts off into an hourglass of lost time, Wondering if tomorrow will bring a new page, For my nighttime journal is full of verses and rhyme, And insight with inspiration comes with age. Wondering if tomorrow will bring a new page, I see a journey with a path to unknown destinations, And insight with inspiration comes with age, For the Lord has given me countless celebrations. I see a journey with a path to unknown destinations, I have roads with dreams coming true with no fear, For the Lord has given me countless celebrations, Each milestone an accomplishment, far and near. I have roads with dreams coming true with no fear, With insight that tomorrow's hope will always last, Each milestone an accomplishment, far and near, And that hourglass seems to be draining fast. With insight that tomorrow's hope will always last, I feel freedom to choose desires to fulfill my fate, And that hourglass seems to be draining fast, I can only pray that my wandering soul isn't too late. I feel freedom to choose desires to fulfill my fate, For my nighttime journal is full of verses and rhyme, I can only pray that my wandering soul isn't too late, My mind drifts off into an hourglass of lost time. With such hope, faith and spirit, one can feel that your poem and the soul will never be too late to fulfill your own fate or dreams. ! I love this hopeful, and fearless pantoum, Laura . Pantoums are not easy to write with such ease and flow. ...PS.....I am so grateful for my high placement in your Tanka contest. Such a lovely surprise !! Thank you so much for the inspiration. I wouldn't have thought of using "medallion" as a color choice, but loved the idea !! Thanks again!! :)
