An Epiphany

Moment after moment, flowing with my breath,
I was each character, performing on stage,
both murderer and victim suffering death
and as my mind battles continued to wage,
the unifying force was love’s healing meth,
paving way for my soul to turn a new page.
I see the drama unfolding, clear as day,
renewing until we grant love right of way.

What a unique love poem. I enjoy the deep messages the way you display the dilemmas of being both victim and murderer. So many jewels of words are explored. Love it.

When we dream, we are both the subject (dreamer) as also all the objects that appear in our dream. Extrapolating, we can see that this here now earth life is also a dream, a manifestation. For the sake of simplicity we may say our higher aspect as formless awareness or Self or soul is the subject and the mind-body we ensoul is an object.
