An Adage "if One and Two.." Expands From Three To Ten.

If one is a coincidence, and two is a trend. Then... Three is an emerging pattern. Four is a set schedule. Five is an unwritten rule. Six is conventional wisdom. Seven is accepted practice. Eight is standard procedure. Nine is etched in stone. Ten is the law of the land.

Hi Gerard, I like this poem very much. And the title is catching as well. It makes me thing of the coincidence of an individual's birth, through experience, and into the social order of life. AKA the law of the land. Very good. Smiling, DAS-J
