Amusing Mews

Her muse was silent, and how
That was not surprising news
But broken by a cute meow
Her muse was amusing mews!

In this place that she is at
To speak aloud's not allowed
She rhymed about her sad cat
Making the feline feel proud!

Her poem was all her own
There's a proud cat sitting near
Two birds fell, with just one stone
That's how she rolls around here!

So 'a-mews-ing', my cat is always getting on my lap when I'm trying to read or write - also like 'speak aloud's not allowed' line too!

Thank you Michelle! It seems "The Soup" is getting a little thin lately.....80).....I guess with winter, rain, colds and what not, there's just not much action. Anyway, I do appreciate the comment!............pat
