Among the Distance

Two friends among the distances One is red and one is blue Uniting despite the fights The colors choose to fuse Purple is a pretty color It's the color we should be Martin Luther didn't die Rosa Parks didn't cry For us to live separately I love my neighbors, red and blue Black, mixed and white Men, women, other, too I love whoever you are, too To my friend among the distance I'd like to thank you For loving me just the same For loving both red and blue
