America,Where Are You Going

When facts are flawed by fantasy,
                             Embracing a delusional reality,
                             When wrong is right,
                             And right is wrong,
                             Instilling chaos and fear;

                             Arresting truth and
                             Liberating violence,
                             Manifesting fallacy,
                             Whittling at the core
                             Of civil liberties;

                             Clothed in an ideology of hope and prosperity;
                             Deceptive machinations
                             Bring us to our knees,
                             Silencing voices in opposition,
                             Mandating conformity;

                             Political malevolence rising,
                             Huddled masses, lost in the abyss of ignorance,
                             Awaiting the feigned promises of a utopian society,
                             Dividing a once united nation;
                             Subordinate puppets for the bureaucracy of Bumbledom.

Right now with the trucker and farmers convoy protest perhaps we are seeing movement in the right direction. We need to stand up for our civil liberties. In the end “A Nation divided against itself will fall”. I think as well that your piece is well written. For me I question the premise. I’m for a new saying “Facts Matter”. Sadly I see “Opinion is King” If enough people band around an opinion it seems to turn into a fact. I believe before they get into a government position they have good intentions.
