American Wood

In a little ultra Leftist bastion called Berkley
a congregation of American Libertarians came,
it was March 4th and proud patriots marched forth
in solidarity for America's freedoms,
celebrating inherent rights with gratitude
most of all the 1st Amendment was to be applauded,
the liberty for public assembly, to meet and speak
as men and women unintimidated
by black clad communists, unafraid of those uncivil,
representing all ages, colors, and storied origins,
everyone volunteering to uphold our starry flag
with hands of strong equality,
these honestly brave Americans were met
by an angry mob of anti American aggressors
many of whom were faceless, feckless flag burners
frothing to fight the old and the young
seething to see blood against the bold banners,
the modus operandi of the "Antifa" apes
is to bully and bash, to cackle in criminal hysteria,
the world has never known worse hypocrites,
they are a cheap paint covering a moral rust
rotten in their self righteousness,
as their violence pitched in the park
the goons didn't realize that the "Alt Knight" was present,
a vigilante with Texas teeth
and a showstopper's stick,
the punks of penny pride
were accustomed to chasing down the defenseless
mauling men, women and seniors
unprepared for vicious violations of their rights,
this afternoon would witness a different affect,
armored with a Second Amendment helmet,
a round Viking shield with an American flag embossed to it,
gas mask to negate pepper spray
and shin gaurds for scum kickin,
after rescuing innocent Americans
from a huge rabid radical,
neutralizing him with sheer nerve
the lunatic talked as thunder
and stood like a nervous nut
clearly he knew that to get crackin with the "Alt Knight"
meant to get a beastly bruising,
the pinnacle at the park brawl
would become a statement of savage honor,
standing near a stainless U.S. flag
with his Texas sweatshirt mantle loose
the "Alt Knight" saw two attackers
approaching his compatriot with reckless mania,
the first he struck with a smooth side stroke
clipping the creep's face
like a bolt of liberty lightning
buckling him into banishment,
the second bumrusher got blighted
by a tomahawk strike to the head
the wood shattering on the dope's skull,
a symbolic splintering of sinful ego,
the extremists learned this day
from the "Alt Knight"
that he'll split your dome
if ya wanna play the thug drone -

I invite everyone to view video footage
of this epic showdown at the Berkley Rally
in which "The Based Stickman", aka. the "Alt Knight"
defended Americans from tyranny...Justin A. Bordner

Your pacing and momentum are relentless--in the best way. From “Texas teeth” to “liberty lightning”, the alliteration and grit create a full-throttle atmosphere. The poem doesn't just describe a clash--it embodies it, turning political unrest into poetic warfare. There’s a cinematic edge here, sharpened by your eye for detail and your unapologetic tone.

Those were strange days Alesia. I'm glad you noticed the tempo of imagery and description. This poem is basically a concise literary documentary which requires a skillfully unique approach.

Hello Justin, just a look in enjoyed the read, its such a paradox; how we treat 'freedom and each other' it seems almost impossible to get an even view, as you put here some liberal people seem more hard line than anticpated, and yet everybody consrvative or liberal will have crossover values, Oh well I shan't go on any more I hope all is well with you.' There are no crossover values when it comes to freedom of expression and personality Poet...you either believe in (love), and support freedom of personality and expression or you are opposed to it...there is no crossover, no safe and or passive aggressive inbetween. Libertarians are not liberals or conservatives, they are independent people whom are proponents of Natural Rights, and partisan politics is no friend of freedom of expression. I appreciate your perspective Poet...J.A.B.

A fantastic dedication to a fearless, unexpected defender, Justin! Quite a crazy and funny story - you definitely elucidated the drama with your eloquent language. I read this descriptive and passionate piece a while ago, and I'm now re-reading it again. Well done, well written! I've plenty to catch up on. You've been on my mind a lot as of late. Hope you are well! Always, Laura

Freedom of expression is of paramount importance to secure a free and creative society Laura...it sickens me when humans believe they have the right to silence and or intimidate others that they disagree with in public. Never forget that freedom of expression includes nonverbal, unwritten expression as well, like the freedom of personality and facial expression...J.A.B.
