American Dream
I am the foreign traveler who works hard for little pay
I am the son of illegal immigrants looking for a better life
A life without poverty, shame, and hunger
I am an American citizen, born in this country
I am an immigrant
I am the father who looks out in to the border in hopes of his dreams
I am the American dream
I am my parents dream
The dream of education,
That my mother never received,
but none the less she is far more intelligent than those of natural born
I am the end result of my father's hard work as an illegal immigrant
I am the hopes and dreams of thousands trying to reach there Utopia
I am the face of deticated workers
who give 110% in any job they do
I am the immigrant spick who signs your checks everyday!
I am the sweat, blood, and tears of dark skinned human beings trying to evade there hunger
I am the seed of my parents
Planted in this rich soil
Growing stronger everyday
I am the desperate traveler
Who has nothing to call my own
But the clothes on my back
I built America
I've changed America
and no matter what obstacles come my way
I am America
