America 2025-So Far
America twenty twenty-five
This year is all the way live
Drones in the Jersey Sky
In California, the fires fly
Planes crashing in the air
Black Hawk helicopters unaware
Who do we blame?
Affirmative action, DEI, what is in a name?
Puerto Rico's electrical grid is a shame
Carolina recuperating from Helen the Hurricane
And now the East is seeing flames
The border out of order
Can we ever get Flint Michigan some decent water
No one ain’t buyin’ what the gov is sellin’
Who you tellin?
East Palestine Ohio’s lands poisoned
Parts of Hawaii is still dusty
Down south selling flooded cars, the insides rusty
No more empathy but imagine the what ifs?
We gonna be too busy paying high bills with all the tarriffs
Snow falling in Florida as they try to stay afloat
In a few years biblically we all may need a boat
Who are we Americans to gloat?
New Year celebrations have gotten uneasy
I miss the days when the streets were safe and breezy
Let's just hope this year's mass shootings decease
But so far violence has no urge to decrease
True American culture tainted in vain
I was raised to prosper and maintain
Be respectful and try not to inflict pain
Who can we shame?
America once a land proud to claim
The past 20 years have truly displayed their game
Thanks to social media
I swear you don’t even need an encyclopedia
The ignorance is blatant
Corruption prevalent
Regard for human life no more
They even stopped the eagle from its soar
You can't make this up, it's true to the core
Who is keeping score?
