Details of our past I cannot unclasp
?Nos souvenirs le sourire aux lèvres
A smile steals onto my lips when I recall
?Tu reviens souvent dans mes pensées
Memories of you so often in my thoughts
?Mais qu'en est-il si la mémoire s'en mêle
Yet what ails me when memory contorts
L'orage s'en vient nuages au loin
Clouds in the distance announce the storm
?Ça gronde dans ma tête
In my head the grind explodes
?Le coeur retient histoire sans fin
The heart stores thoughts sans end
?La peur que tout s'arrête
For fear that all might come to an end

Et si jamais je dois tout oublier
And should I ever all forget
?Si le temps devait tout effacer
Should Time then all efface
?Que le ciel m'emporte à tout jamais
May Providence then whisk me forever away?

And of a sudden our days should be numbered
