'always There'
When I gazed through my window
I was hoping to catch a glimpse
Of you
When midnight hour float in
I was hoping to hear you breathe
In all the hopes I sometimes have
I know those two will never be
You are no longer
Treading your footsteps here on earth
Today is better than yesterday
But I don’t know about later in the day
At times I feel you next to me
At times I shed a tear or two
Because I miss you
Then I reminisce
And just like that I know
That no matter what happens
You will always be there,
Might not be physically but
You are always; always
there
