gilt leaves are falling at the last thrill of summer life is filled with change sunshine fills the noon scattering leaves cars go by on a tree lined street brisk winds whip my hair red cardinal is staying for the joys of snow a spongy carpet on a path that goes for miles ending in the spring

I love the imagery and how you describe things, you switch between rhyme and none rhyme perfectly... these are lovely haiku

Really love the imagery in the third stanza, Evelyn: The wind whipping your hair, and the red cardinal staying on for winter snows. Glad they do, as they stand out so well and provide a much-needed splash of color in a colorless season. Nicely penned! :) gw

I liked this haiku stanza poem. I enjoyed the sense of time captured by specific images.
