Alone
Here I lay
Wishing you were here
Your familiar face
It’s so far from home
Sometimes it’s too much
My breath is so heavy
My anxious thoughts
Leave me so empty
Dreaming of a time
Of a you and an I
Am I slipping away
Am I going crazy
Feeling so intimidated
I know it’s in my head
Time can be so cruel
Sleep it all away
Your poison runs my veins
Can’t think of any other
So afraid of this feeling
But I’m falling deeper in to you
