All Yours

Speak to me gently, my love.
as gentle as the whisper
of the west wind
touching winter twigs.

Embrace me tightly , my love
like a misty cloud
embosoming the moon.
Kiss me tenderly ~
like dewdrops touch
on a blossoming bud.

Sing to me once again, my love
those melodies written in the clouds~
whistled by  nocturnal songbirds
whispered by the west wind.

Dance with me now, my love
as the scented shades of night fall;
Come take my hand
I am~ all yours.

Love - speaking, embracing, singing and dancing! What beautiful images, JCB. And I love the way you use the letter "w" to reinforce the feeling of the wind in your alliteration. Congratulations on your first place win!

I love the eloquence of lines like 'touching winter twigs' and 'melodies written in the clouds' - wonderful job showing the fullness of emotion, congratulations on your win!
