All We Need To Do
As the darkness of night hides the feeders and yellow covered bush,
I wonder where the birds sleep, depending on their kind?
The deep woods hold so many places for their homes
Do they dream? Are their instincts in over drive?
I listen to them in the day, communicate in all kinds of ways
They dart around here and there with so much to say
I follow their lead in flight of inspiration and freedom
I relish in the peace they bring with their fun activity
Fluttering along with their songs, creating music in the air
They are smart and their senses are distinct and strong
Seemingly fearless at all heights, trusting in their abilities
Sometimes alone, other times in large chattering flocks
One or many makes no difference when it comes to all they do
Whether they're within feet or miles of distance up in the sky,
They are all around, showing us nothing is impossible
All we need to do is to explore, search and continue to try
