All the Pieces
ALL THE PIECES
Fragments and crumbs of life, all the pieces…
That fateful 1990, I left pieces of my heart behind
Without a kiss, I fearlessly rushed to the plane
Full of dreams and promises…
My heart fragmented, nonetheless, I did not look back
As the plane ascends with its mighty roar so as my dreams
I somehow manage to chat with my brain
Into the clouds of uncertainties.
The crumbs, the fragments, all the pieces of my heart
Were scattered, irretrievable for long agonizing years.
I wish I would have known then what I knew now,
I should not have left,
I should have hold you tight all day all night
Forever till eternity.
All the pieces, fragments and crumbs of my life
I vacuumed them piece by piece back into my heart
I recycled them into
A spectacular piece of artwork
My love, my poetry.
