All That Remains Now
All that remains now
Long talks and walks with folks
Seems like folk stories
Time spent in amusement
Maybe it was an enchantment
False, vivid beautiful memories
Now they are just folk stories
Remembrances, violently churned the heart
Eyes widened, heart grew warm
Just a thought brought a smile
Now what remains is a stone cold heart
Guarded by a bed of thorns
And a high wall
Blurred memories of the beautiful castle
Which was what it was when it was
But all that remains are ruins and rubble
And the vivid false beautiful memories
Are blurred now, almost unimaginable
All that remains are folk stories
