Notes About The Poem

All In Good Taste

Let my remains be not mourned or wasted
Entombed, cremated, sautéed or basted
Enriching the soil below
Where lush apple trees grow
I'll be in the best Macintosh anyone's tasted!

If one were laid beneath an apple tree
Very nourishing that would surely be
Apple pie to die for
From an earthling's deep core
Whose epitaph could read “Bon Appetit."

Can't imagine your relatives would bury you under an apple tree.

Wow Robert this is believe it or not what they want to do with composting humans for the soil in California. Truth is stranger than fiction. This is a favorite for me Robert, your wit and humor is always appreciated my friend. Thank you for posting...
