All for you
All for You
For my daughters, the rhythm and the color of my world.
I rise before the morning light,
Chasing hours, chasing night.
Calloused hands and tired eyes—
Still, I reach to touch the skies.
Not for gold, or pride, or fame,
Not for glory, not for name.
But for two stars that light my way—
One who paints, one who sways.
To my dancer: twirl through space,
Each spin a fire, each step a grace.
I see your soul in every beat,
Your dreams alive in moving feet.
To my artist: hands that glow,
Bringing beauty the world should know.
With every stroke, you show me how
To find the magic in the now.
You may not see the things I do,
The heavy days I carry through.
But every sweat, and every tear,
Was for your smile, to keep it near.
The overtime, the silent pain,
The quiet walks home in the rain.
You are the reason I still stand—
My heart in yours, hand in hand.
I may not say it loud each day,
But in my soul, it’s carved to stay:
I’d give this world and build it new
Just to light a path for you.
So dance your dreams, and paint your skies,
Don’t ever shrink, don’t compromise.
Whatever paths you choose to roam—
Know every step has built your home.
And when you fly, as I pray you do,
Take this truth and hold it true:
You are my why, my breath, my flame—
All I’ve done, I’d do again.
All for you. Always for you.
