All For Dignity

groom gone, mocked by wounded run from enemy bomb, red hydrogen on deep ground: journey of gunpowder fog , ebony… mercy, mercy! he roughed on, he moved on bore robbed order… beyond doggone echo, honored cup of God reborn one more eve… now , bound for home. (a) peaceful tidings to all soldiers who were re-united with their families this holiday season . . . . ..

Not every father gets the honour of dying for family and country, and a General at that!. Great tribute dear Nette, sorry for your loss . Tiaua

The greatest honour any father could earn would be the love of his children and your father clearly has that still . A beautiful tribute nette.

Dear Nette: A very lovely tribute. This is for you: "Smiles you remember, Fond touch embracing; Love now engenders, Smiles everlasting!" Our hurts heal with passing time but love is forever. Take comfort in love and light. Leon
