All Alone Together
All alone together
The sun this evening sets beyond
a pristine mountain lake
In watercolor brushstrokes blending
warm on summer skies
Reflecting nature’s beauty in a
slowly rippled wake
And still I only long to look
into your perfect eyes
~
For there I find such grandeur waiting
as I sit and stare
Here beneath the moonbeams and
the stardust sprinkled bliss
Whispering sweet twilight dreams the
two of us can share
Now as one our shadows
meet in passion’s heated kiss
~
Mesmerizing loveliness of
visions from above
Lullabies in echoes
mingle with our breathless sighs
While we bid the day farewell on this
our night in love
All alone together
till the morning sun does rise
Good night Soupers
