Alas, Dorcas Reilly Has Died

Alas, Dorcas Reilly has died, God rest her soul!

Little known was she who served a great role!

Those who knew of her were few,

But you'd mourn her if you knew,

'Twas she who launched the green bean casserole!

G'day Bob ... people like Dorcas need to be remembered for their contribution to the dinner table, so you've done Dorcas proud Bob - thank you Bob - Lindsay

Hello Robert. I came across this delightful limerick tonight. And so glad I did. Well done here, green bean casserole and all. Best wishes. Deb

Some of my family will say "May his soul rest in peace," and hope that never another green bean casserole appears at their table. Funny, funny, really enjoyable.
