Alabi

The Alibi
              (c) London F. Bus 2020

What the hell was I thinking.
 My footsteps melt the snow.
when the sun comes out: that’s my alibi.

What the hell were you thinking,
but you don’t know where I’ve been.
 That I’ve been with him?

I'll just tell you that I love you!
You’re the love of my life!
What the hell was you thinking, when you made me your wife.

You don’t know where go, you don’t know where I’ve been
A smile in the snow hides my footsteps.
That my alibi: that can’t be seen.

I'll just say my soulmate... forever.
resting my head on your his,
his shoulder but you don’t know where I’ve beem.

You believe my smile, my alibi
but I don’t know why, you don’t know,
he went down on me and made me scream.

Clawing at the pillows like in a dream
you don’t know where I’ve been!
What the hell was I thinking.

 Alibi’s. Alibi’s
Always never lie, that’s what you were thinking.
when you made me your wife?
