Alabaster Dreams

Alabaster Dreams Sitting to pen a message dipping her quill Into the well housing a special perfumed ink She chose a personal periscope from her diary My darling Memories of you heat my being to a blush I dream of your presence once again as your lips Touch mine filling my reservoir of passion with a kiss I melt looking into your unbelievable chiseled face As if, a master carved it from a precious ligure of old Make haste my love from where you are this day Leap onto one of the quadrivial paths leading To the mystical hill upon which I sit waiting For sounds of hoofs entering the garden gates For I cannot dream forever Carole Cookie Arnold 07/14/2013 Shadow Hamilton’s contest Any Subject
