Aging
This later time in life
I presume nothing;
no longer await with
joyful anticipation nor
fear – a year’s end
seems further out of
reach, focused more
on the moment I can
whittle away. Better
somehow live the present
regardless...reface what
I can – for death has no
future; love~ dimming
as memory.
