Afternoon Nap
From a midday doze,
A glimpse of paradise I saw.
White light and puppies fumbling
In a meadow green and yellow
Filled my heart.
I nodded forward to catch a
Glimpse of God's smile.
A forgiveness and a fulfilled spirit
I felt, as the whole of my heart swelled up.
Grateful and speechless,
I cried the tears of overjoyed innocence.
And settled back to the now
Leaving my dancing dogs smiling
And excited for our soon to be.
See you soon.
