Afternoon In a Meadow

Shy woods blush mahogany gold
Temperate wind's silky whisper
Stir pinking buds to waken from shade
Grasses' lush complexion freckled in yellow
Transforming mortal earth to hopeful heaven
Stretching to eternal untrimmed light
Bounty of wide limitless lease
As sun takes possession of my sight....
