Afternoon Delight
This afternoon
I close my eyes to the day
See no longer the sunshine,
no longer the passersby
I hear however, the world
But then tune it out
What is left?
I am able to see and hear
Not of this world,
But of a different plane
A level where only love
And peace wonderfully coexist
The beauty in that is
That I am there and
You are there, too
