Afternoon Delight

This afternoon I close my eyes to the day See no longer the sunshine, no longer the passersby I hear however, the world But then tune it out What is left? I am able to see and hear Not of this world, But of a different plane A level where only love And peace wonderfully coexist The beauty in that is That I am there and You are there, too

The title captured my attention. Awhile back I was driving to youth group with 3 teenage boys singing SKYROCKETS IN FLIGHT AFTERNOON DELIGHTTTT at the top of our lungs when it occurred to me what we were singing about and I just about died. Filed it under Songs I dont wanna sing with my sons....This dear Michael is very tasetfully done and beautiful. smiless Laurie
