After the Sunset

Upon the descent of the sun,
the nocturnal beasts come out
and their approach is one
that you cannot refuse.
As nature's melody plays,
within the air and in our hearts,
we, as animals, encounter the night.
We feel and sense each other,
as the night makes us more visible
in the reality of our love.
Entwining, as those nocturnal,
we can feel each other's heart
pounding to escape the bonds of day.

Nicely done! I love the evenings - a chance to be alone and as you say escape the bonds of the day - it is another world at night..

The nightly beast emerge as the sun vanishes away. I love the feel of the write. I read it and it had a mysterious feel to the read. I enjoyed the heart linked to the darkness. Great write.
