After The Spell A collaboration by Howard Kerr and Jerry Curtis
Listen to poem:
Based on Original Poem by Howard Kerr
He focused on the image
Of a stunning woman’s pose
As she slides a flower down her cheek
'Till it rest beneath her nose
Against a hue-tinged skyline
Canvas so mesmerizing
Makes the bristles on His brush
For the paint, so appetizing
In its otherworldly scope
That dream mirror brochure lure
Where dreams an mirrors shatter
She could be the only cure
Chorus
Dashed by thunderstorms and rain
He will never be the same
Instrumental
Against a hue-tinged skyline
Canvas so mesmerizing
Makes the bristles on His brush
For the paint, so appetizing
In its otherworldly scope
That dream mirror brochure lure
Where dreams an mirrors shatter
She could be the only cure
Chorus
dashed by thunderstorms and rain
He will never be the same
