Afrerlife

Three breaths away - His cloak floats Dark, luminous A cold wind wraps around me Precious water, Dripping in mirth A song chills my bones, Familiarity rings in my femur bones The sacred scythe Grazes my thigh Precious red jewels Rushing to join it I fade drop by drop, His smile infectious, His potence my privilege Curtains awry to the afterlife.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
