Afraid To Venture

They used to say when would my adventures end
for by plane or boat I sought to find home
discover new things- see if they fitted
Now I am afraid- COVID19 did this to me
my beloved Greece awaits me with open arms
but I fear it
I dream of the Aegean sea and it calls me
of the sounds and smells of its Islands
but I fear it
wait for me beloved home
one day I will return

We are among the least affected countries in the world with only 195 deaths and 3800 cases affected by the COVIT-19! Tourist from all over the world, are coming to Greece for the sun, the sea and its people. Your roots are here , the place is yours, your grandfather will protect you all the way! Kim Rodrigues July 17, 2020 at 5:25 AM Too crazy! I started to have my two Grandsons visit a couple years ago for 1 or so weeks, visit with their cousins. Now I can’t reach them for a hug.
