Afraid To Venture

They used to say when would my adventures end
for by plane or boat I sought to find home
discover new things- see if they fitted
Now I am afraid- COVID19 did this to me
my beloved Greece awaits me with open arms
but I fear it
I dream of the Aegean sea and it calls me
of the sounds and smells of its Islands
but I fear it
wait for me beloved home
one day I will return

Dearest, Julie, your old country is waiting for you to come! We are among the least affected countries in the world with only 195 deaths and 3800 cases affected by the COVIT-19! Tourist from all over the world, are coming to Greece for the sun, the sea and its people. Your roots are here , the place is yours, your grandfather will protect you all the way! Wonderful passionate writing! Hugs xxx

Yes, I know but many who will travel there will take the virus with them and undo all the good work the Greek people have done- I will come home but am going to wait until October. Hugs XXXX

Too crazy! I started to have my two Grandsons visit a couple years ago for 1 or so weeks, visit with their cousins. Now I can’t reach them for a hug. We are affected in so many ways. Hugs
