Afraid of Rejection

I quietly profess my love, silently, eternally She is timid, shy, afraid of being rejected. Alone, she skittles into the shadows of fear. I attempt to coax her out, but she stays safe. I have not yet met the right guy, apparently When I do, I am sure she will ease out, Fearless and assertive; that is what love does, right?
