Advice for a Sunny Day

If it is a sunny day, why not while the hours away? Take a peaceful walk or stroll. You might find a friendly soul. If you spy a dog or horse, you should say "hello" of course.

Of course you should/say hello to Ed or Lassie/they’re the friendly sort/though one loves to chortle/the other’s out to save the day… Have a peaceful, sunny day!

Of course! A horse is a horse of course, of course. Now that you mention it, I think that this poem must be due to the Mr. Ed theme song's subliminal influence. I remember those two shows. Also, there was Flipper and Gentle Ben.
