Adrift With the Moon

                             Oh moon, with your many moods,
                                your beauty woos me, as you
                                   wax and wane majestic.

                                Your mesmerizing call awakens
                              my heart, as you carry me away
                               like the tides that ebb and flow
                               along your shimmery pathways.

                                  Where you go, I will follow,
                               guided by a spirit of wanderlust 
                                   to distant lands and seas, 
                               navigating by the stars alone.

                             For I am captivated by your beauty
                                as I hear your siren song calling
                               an enchanting, haunting melody
                                     too powerful to resist.

                                     My heart is moonstruck 
                                away I go, adrift and wandering  
                                 until I meet you face to face
                                       forever I will roam.

Watched moon and through hair I ran a comb, while seeing it continue across the sky to roam. I always wondered what the face in the moon was trying to say or sing.
