Adoption- Personally, Physically and Spiritually

Here I am looking back on life's events adopted at 6 weeks, stammer with me but loved by my new parents this is so I think back often on if I had been free Cause having a stammer you're never free the tongue has got you in its grip all of my school days were never happy living in the country so quiet a lovely trip Many years later in my late 20s met Christ He showed His love for me He did die in my place on Calvary's tree shed His blood bringing salvation home to me I did fly Having adopted me as His brother Jesus was now my co-heir no less how blessed and privileged I truly am If God hadn't found me, I would be a mess Everything happens for a reason God's wisdom gave me Mum and Dad then awoke my spirit for His to come in now look back see His hand for I am Glad

Hello Gordon McConnell,you are blessed. Do not be ashamed of the way you are. God made you special. You are unique. My uncle made me sick as a baby with TBM with a lot of doctors trails and errors, found a way to cure me. I was known as the miracle baby.I went through a lot. Yet I am here today. Thanks Darlene, You are such encouragement just when I was needing some inspiring words for the progress I've made in past months in therapy had gone in the past week but I see my speech therapist this week so hoping for confidence to be built up again. Blessings be yours, Gordon

this weekend we get to meet my boyfriend's younger brother, who was adopted, as the parents lived in a tiny one room house and already had 5 children and were getting ready to divorce... the brother found them with dna through ancestory site....so your poem touched me in more ways then one...love the adoption from God especially....good write my friend :) hugs
