CHARITY

FROM MY ROOFTOP GARDEN AT THIS RAINY MORNING, 10 MARCH 2017, MY PHOTO, ©

Charity like medicine must be administered to the right people at the proper dose and time! © Demetrios Trifiatis 10 March 2017 * Inspired by Victor's Buhagiar poem, "Charity Upside Down World " where he does good and each time he is hurt!

Don't you think that I know that my dearest friend, nette? The point I try to make here is that charity is not just to give generously and unconditionally but to give to those who really need not just to give to make us feel good! Thank you for taking the time to visit! Did you read Victor's poem?

Thank you dear Paulette or should I say "merci mon amie Paulette?" pour ta belle visite!

This was fantastic Demetrios and so true. I agree but also believe that the biggest part of charity is in the giving. If it seems unappreciated, well that is someone else's problem.

Yes I agree and I guess I need to find Victor's poem and read it to know exactly what inspired these thoughts.

Yes, my friend Chris, charity is in giving but to whom is given concerns me because as in the case of Victor, whose poem inspired me, I have some cases myself that fell victim to my charity and with serious consequences I may say therefore theory is one thing, practice is another! We ought to give BUT to whom, when and to what degree is another! Don't you agree my friend? Why not to give to the right people rather just to give? Thank you!

True this may happen BUT also true is if charity goes to the wrong hands then people die and suffer! We have only to look at countries that take advantage of charity to help their own and let those who really need it without it! Thank you my friend, Anne-Lise!
