Adieu

Dim the day, dim the light!
I need no glimpse or glance.
Mute the beat, still the feet
I care not to sing or dance
Bland the sweet, stinch the flower
No desire to taste nor smell
Halt the minute, stop the hour
If only time will tell
Pour the tea, sip the leaf
steeped in anger, stirred in rage
Close the book, I'll read no more!
Done with turning page to page
Love is over, as I with you
Save your riddle and your rhyme
No yearning here for troubled thoughts
So long to wasted time.

I've felt that way. You've expressed your feelings quite well, Devondra.
