Addiction

Together we stay
And in every way in your eyes I am perfect and whole
You look upon my soul
I am open and vulnerable, but unwillingly
You read my mind and feel my thoughts
I know because I feel yours
I catch your moods
Open yourself to me, you might as well
I know what you will say before you even decide to tell
You're already mine, it wasn't a choice
Things we never imagined divulging with our voice
Our mind has already told the other
In each other we find acceptance
We accept each other, therefore accepting ourselves

I feel the passion inside of you
And when you want me, you ignite it
And I can't help but feed it, light it
I need you so bad
We get a taste of this passion
Which inevitably creates a need
A need that very well might become all-consuming
       ...An addiction

I like your poems ... I read a few of your poems ... I notice your struggle with complex issues of life! That is very encouraging ...
