Added Honey
He said she had a laugh like added honey
and said her hair was long and lovely
she laughed and said his hair was too
he laughed... and then she knew
.
she sat and talked about the weather
and said too hot for his jacket leather
and she remembers his blue eyes so very well
and thought 'he's' not shy'....she can always tell
they sat and talked about nothing.....and places
in a high street cafe of crowded faces
he said ' is your latte hot'
by then .........she had forgot
he said her laugh is still like added honey
and tells her, her hair is still long and lovely
she laughs and said his was too
but then he cut it, when it grew
they fell in love, it was meant to be
to grow old together, see
and the first meeting felt , just so very right
but she's never told him............................he's still her light
